New Skoda Rapid Spaceback Quotes

Performance

The Skoda Rapid Spaceback is very smooth, and comes with the very latest technology and safety systems including stability and traction control to ensure the driver has permanent, complete control no matter the roads conditions. The petrol engine range consists of an 84bhp 1.2-litre TSI engine and a 1.2-litre TSI with 103bhp, with the extra 20bhp makes a huge difference on the road. Only one 1.6-litre TDI diesel engine will be available, though there are two power outputs to choose from – one with 88bhp and the other with 103bhp.

Running Costs

The Skoda Rapid Spaceback running costs are fairly cheap considering the size of the car. The most economical engine is the 1.6-litre TDI diesel, with both power outputs having an official fuel consumption figure of 64.2mpg (70.6mpg if you opt for the GreenTech model) which is very impressive. The gap between this and the petrol cars is not as wide as some on the market with both 1.2-litre TSI options achieving over 50mpg and the 1.4-litre TSI just under. Like the diesel options, if the GreenTech version is selected, the mpg improves further.

Equipment

The Skoda Rapid Spaceback has various levels of trims available, all featuring a very impressive list of features. The entry level S features 15-inch steel wheels, CD player, remote central locking, air conditioning, cup holder and a fluorescent vest holder. Opt for the GreenTech version and you’ll also benefit from stop/start too and a brake energy recovery system. Next up, the SE trim come with Bluetooth, cruise control, tinted glass, 15-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and a leather steering wheel as standard. Top of the range is the Elegance trim, which includes all the kit from the SE model with additional 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome touches in the interior, climate control, floor mats, cornering front fog lights and a height adjustable passenger seat.
