New Skoda Rapid Quotes

Performance

The Skoda Rapid is a sensible car that handles very well, combining great comfort with great cruising ability. The two petrol engines and one diesel engine with a total of seven power variants make up a broad range of offerings. The petrol line-up includes a 73bhp 1.2-litre, 83bhp 1.2-litre TSI, 103bhp 1.2-litre TSI and a 120bhp 1.4-litre TSI. Three versions of the 1.6-litre diesel are available, including 88bhp 1.6-litre diesel engine and a 103bhp 1.6-litre diesel mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Running Costs

Across the range, the Skoda Rapid offers great fuel economy, however for those requiring more mileage, the best option is probably a diesel. The standard 104bhp 1.6-litre TDI is capable of 64.2mpg and emits just 114g/km of CO2, while in GreenTech spec it will return 70.6mpg and emit 106g/km CO2 – a great option for those requiring to travel. For low mileage drivers the cheaper petrol engines will make more sense, with the 1.2-litre TSI petrol managing 55.4mpg and 119g/km in standard spec and 65.7mpg and 114g/km CO2 in GreenTech – a more powerful alternative to the diesel.

Equipment

The Skoda Rapid has various levels of trims available, all featuring a very impressive list of features. Three trims are available on the Skoda Rapid: S, SE and Elegance.
