New Porsche Panamera Quotes

Performance

The Panamera is an executive saloon that is much more agile than its size and weight would suggest, helped by a firm, forgiving suspension allowing it to keep very flat in corners. The steering is perfectly weighted and very responsive and feels incredibly impressive. There is a range of of V6, V8 GTS and Turbo models offered for the Panamera. The top spec is the Turbo specification which uses a 4.8-litre V8 but fitted with two turbochargers to boost power up to 500bhp. It's stunningly quick with the zero to 62mph sprint taking a mere 4.2 seconds.

Running Costs

The Panamera is surprisingly affordable considering the size of the car. While fuel economy isn't a strong point for petrol models, with the top spec Turbo returning an average of just 23mpg, the diesel returns a reasonably healthy 43.5mpg on average.

However, the jewel in Porsche’s crown is the Panamera S E-Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid that claims 91mpg and 71g/km of CO2. When it comes to running costs, this one will go for up to 22 miles on electric power alone, meaning the high purchase price will more than make up for itself over time.

Equipment

The Panamera has various levels of trims available, all featuring a very impressive list of features.

Standard spec across all models includes full leather interior, electric windows and mirrors, rear parking sensors and 18-inch alloy wheels. Also included is an electric parking brake and a 3D touch screen satellite navigation.

Meanwhile, the Panamera 4S adds a PDK automatic gearbox as standard, along with the automatic engine stop/start function.

The top of the range Turbo comes with 19-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, uprated composite brakes, keyless entry and start and adaptive front lighting.
