Running Costs

The 508 HYbrid4 model is road tax free as it only emits 95g/km and will return 78.5mpg due to its automatic gear box. In manual gears the standard 1.6L HDI diesel has slightly higher Co2 emissions but will still return 60.1mpg. Similarly the affordable SW 140 HDi which has starting prices from £17,695 has lower running costs than the Skoda Superb as it will return 56.5mpg compared with 51.4mpg which is particularly inefficient after the more expensive starting price of £25,470.
