The 5008 is a high torque performer across the range as it is fitted with a large 150bhp 2.0L turbodiesel engine and uses 350Nm of torque to take sharp corners with ease.A less racy engine is available with the 1.6L HDi 110 diesel and there are a good choice of petrol engines which start off with entry level VTi 120.The 5008 2.0L impresses on test drives with a sprint of 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 127mph which completely overshadows the Grand Scenic dCi 160 Dynamique’s 0-60mph run at 9.8 seconds an a top speed of 127mph.

Equipment

The cabin of the 5008 impresses initially as it has space for 7 people and the 5 rear seats fold away to make room for a loading area. There are three trims available although all versions will include air-con. The entry level access model includes a connect USB and bluetooth handsfree kit and 16" alloy wheels.
