New Kia Proceed Quotes

Performance

There are a decent choice of engines across the pro_cee’d range including a 1.6-litre GDi petrol, a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel and a range-topping 2.0-litre CRDi diesel. The 1.6-litre diesel packs an impressive punch with its 113bhp output that delivers speed in a smooth and refined manner but the fun comes from the 138bhp output of the 2.0-litre which will deliver a 0-60mph sprint in 10.1 seconds.

Running Costs

All pro_cee’d models have a fuel-saving stop-start system as standard equipment, which makes the car surprisingly cheap to run; the 1.6-litre petrol engine will return an average fuel consumption of 52.3mpg with CO2 emissions at 124g/km. The pro_cee’d has a decent starting price at around £19,000 which comes in at about £3,000 less than the Vauxhall Astra making the pro_cee’d the more frugal choice overall.

Equipment

The entry level 2 trim comes with a decent amount of standard equipment, including air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, a CD stereo, USB and Aux-in socket with iPod cable, 16-inch alloy wheels and steering wheel mounted audio controls. Moving up to the 3 trim, there are added features of 17-inch alloy wheels, climate control, part leather seats and alloy pedals.
