New Kia Picanto Quotes

Performance

The Picanto model comes with two efficient petrol engines, a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine with a 68bhp output and a 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine with an 84bhp output. For smoothest performance the 1.3-litre is the only choice, the acceleration is lively and will run 0-60mph in 11.4 seconds with a top speed of 101mph which stacks comfortably against its rivals.

Running Costs

While the Picanto is nippy around town it is also surprisingly frugal as the 1.3-litre engine will manage fuel consumption of 60mpg and has low CO2 emissions of Co2. However, by adding the EcoDynamics stop-start system option this is improved to 65.7mpg and emits only 100g/km. The Picanto also has an enticing purchase price starting at around £7,395.

Equipment

All models have tinted glass, an MP3 compatible CD player, front electric windows, ABS with twin front airbags, power steering and split folding rear seats as standard. The 3 trim will have added features including alloy wheels, sports styling, iPod connection and rear electric windows. A more recent addition of the Graphite trim will have bigger 14-inch alloy wheels, remote central locking, a rear spoiler and a leather steering wheel.
