New Kia Carens Quotes

Three engines are offered across the Carens range, a 1.6-litre petrol and 114bhp and 134bhp versions of a 1.7-litre CRDi diesel. For more punch and versatility, opt for a diesel engine.

Running costs

Any version of the Carens is good value for money. The five-seater model is the best choice in terms of starting price coming in at around £15,000 but the diesel engines offer the best running costs with an average of 46mpg. In fact the 1.7-litre CRDi 2 will manage 48.7mpg and has relatively low CO2 emissions of 124g/km. Servicing costs with the Carens can be expected to be low and it will come with a seven-year warranty which will take care of any unexpected costs along the way.

The entry level S models, which are only available with five-seats, come well-equipped with alloy wheels, CD stereo, air conditioning, electric windows, electrically adjustable door mirrors and Isofix child seat mounting points. The GS trim adds chrome door handles and grille, roof rails, front fog lights, heated door mirrors, remote central locking and a leather steering wheel. The flagship model in the range is the LS trim which has extra features of automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, 16"alloy wheels and electric folding mirrors.
