New Jeep Grand Cherokee Quotes

Performance

Three engines are included in this range, including two diesels and one petrol; the lower-powered 188bhp diesel will run from 0-60mph in 10.2 seconds. The most powerful engine in the range is the 3.0-litre V6 diesel sprinting 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds. To compare to its rivals the Cherokee sits in between the Land Rover Discovery and the VW Touareg which will run 0-60mph in 8.6 and 7.4 seconds respectively making the Cherokee performance competitive. Running Costs

With the size off-roaders like the Cherokee, running costs are never going to be as cheap as for other cars but there have been improvements on these recent Jeep models. The V6 combined with 8-speed automatic gearbox has boosted the models economy to a fuel return of 38mpg and emissions are now around 198g/km. Although its running costs are not as attractive as its rivals, it does boast a decent entry level price at around £43,000 and if serviced by a 4x4 specialist it shouldn’t cost too much to run.

Equipment

One of the strongest tools at the Cherokee’s disposal is that it comes equipped with a lot of standard equipment. All models feature power steering, dual zone climate control, heated front seats with 10-way electrical adjustment, cruise control, electric windows, leather upholstery and 17" alloy wheels. Top of the range Overland model comes with unique alloy wheel, a 10-disc CD changer, electric sunroof along with suede and leather seat trim.
