New Dacia Sandero Quotes

Performance

The Sandero comes with a choice of three engines, with all three mated to a five-speed gearbox. The 74bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine will run 0-62mph in 14.5 seconds with a top speed of 97mph. The more powerful 89bhp three-cylinder engine will boost a more impressive 0-62mph in 11.1 seconds and will achieve a top speed of 109mph. This leads as the most powerful engine in the series, as the diesel engine will run 0-62mph in 12.1 seconds. The top petrol engine stacks well above compared to its rival the Skoda Citigo 1.0-litre S 3dr which will only push 0-62mph in 12.7 seconds and has a disappointing top speed of 99mph. Running costs

The Sandero’s running costs will be low, throughout the entire ownership with the most frugal engine being the 1.5-litre diesel which will see a hefty return of 74.3mpg. Similarly the 1.5-litre engine will emit a road tax exempt 99g/km of Co2 emissions. Comparably the Skoda Citigo will only return 50.4mpg and has Co2 emissions of 105g/km. The Sandero is an appealing car in terms of running costs particularly with the starting price at an impressive £5,995 which makes it even more attractive next to its rivals, again for example the Skoda which starts at £8,445.
