New Audi RS7 Quotes

The flagship RS7 sportback and the CLS 500 both offer powerful and refined V8 engines. It has a 4.0-litre V8 Twin-turbo engine boosting its power up to 552bhp with a sprint of 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 189mph.

In contrast the V8 engine of the CLS 500 offers a less thrilling 0-60mph of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.

The RS7 makes for a noisy performance which could dominate a test driving experience but the engine’s cylinder-on-demand system allows it to operate as a V4 above 15mph.

Running Costs

The RS7 kicks off with a large entry level price at £83, 495. The Co2 emissions at the same level as the RS6, 229g/km and it will return a surprising 28.8mpg. However, this is where the CLS 500 shines as the Co2 emissions are much lower at 209g/km and it will return 31.4mpg at its best. Alongside the CLS 500’s cheaper starting price the RS7 will look as an expensive model to buy and run.

Full specs on the RS7 Sportback will be found in the brochure but some of the standard equipment includes: 20-inch alloy wheels, quattro permanent all-wheel-drive with sports differential and RS- specific adaptive air suspension.
