New Audi R8 Quotes

It doesn’t matter which of the R8 models you choose, the performance offered is spectacular. The R8 V8 manual version still packs a punch with acceleration of 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds setting it alongside the Porsche 911 Carrera S which sprints at a 0-60mph of 4.5 seconds.

The standard R8 version will peak with a top speed of 187mph which streaks past the Jaguar RX Coupe which will only manage 155mph.

The fastest (most fun) in the range has to be the R8 V10 5.2L FSI which has a top speed of 195mph and races from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds which is markably faster than the Ferrari F430 at a 0-60mph in 3.8 seconds. Any of the R8 range are available for test driving purposes.

Running Costs

Prices for the R8 start around £92,000 which is a hefty entry level price Owning a V8/V10 engine is never going to be cheap with the fuel economy figures reaching 19mpg for the 5.2-litre model making it one of the thirstiest cars across the whole Audi range.

However, the car is likely to experience little depreciation as its range boasts exclusivity, making it an unusual supercar.

All cars in the range come with satellite navigation, 19-inch alloys, Audi Music Interface and bluetooth - interiors include heated seats and LED exterior headlights.
