New Audi A4 Quotes

Unlike other Audis, most A4 models come as standard with diesel engines ,however, the petrol engines start off at 1.8-litre TFSI boasting an impressive zero to 62mph in 10.5 seconds and a top speed of 130mph.

In diesel performance the A4 2.0-litre TDI SE model accelerates 0-100km/h at 10.1 seconds with a top speed of 134 mph compared to the similar Ford Mondeo 2.0L Titanium X which does 0-100km/h in 10.9 seconds and has a top speed of 124mph. Feeling the handling difference of the A4 is available for test drive.

For the full package the A4 2.0L TDI e runs powerfully 0-100km/h at 9.4 seconds with a top speed of 134mph, although there are faster traveling diesel models, the TDIe makes for economic sense.

Running Costs

The most effective runner in the A4 series is the 2.0L TDI SE alongside its top speed and acceleration performance the Co2 emissions are at a low 18% tax bracket which sit well alongside the entry price of £23, 940.

The diesel engines will provide better economy when in comparison with the A4 rival: BMW 320d SE which has higher Co2 emissions stacking up to 156g/km making tax a serious expense for the car. Similarly the Ford Mondeo rival - 2.0L Titanium X emits 189g/km which add to the seemingly low entry level cost of £22,945.

The interior of the A4 continually impresses as the seats are supportive but offer adjustment and the model comes with an impressive amount of standard equipment.

The entry level model boasts 3- zone climate control, bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors, cruise control, cloth seats, manual height adjustment and 10 speaker system including 180 watt subwoofer. The wheels are 17" alloys ‘5-spoke’ design alloy wheels with locking wheel bolts, and spare wheels - however this feature is unavailable on TDIe models.
