Running Costs

This is a powerful 6.0-litre V12 engine, but the DB9 has been improved in terms of fuel economy and it will now return 19.5mpg with CO2 emissions at 333g/km. Its servicing intervals are improved however as they come in at around 10,000 miles, so although road taxing seems expensive, general costs will remain low. The purchasing price of the DB9 will also make it surprisingly attractive as it starts at around £131,000 which is significantly cheaper than rivals including the Mercedes SL65 AMG.

The DB9 comes as standard with 20-inch alloy wheels, full-grain leather interior, heated front seats, heated rear screen, automatic temperature control, cruise control and Bluetooth telephone preparation. Going up the range, optional equipment comes in different types of alloy wheels, with five-spoke or ten-spoke options, 1000-watt Bang and Olufsen Bose audio system with Icepower technology and DB9 logo or Aston Martin wings embroidery on headrests. The equipment and kit available across the trim levels for the DB9 is extensive and a comprehensive list can be found in our brochure.
