Suzuki has announced a new VAT-free offer available with all of its Suzuki Alto and Suzuki Swift models until the end of December.
With the new VAT offer customers will save £1,330 on the Alto model and £1,780 on the Swift models. Meanwhile, with the top specification Swift SZ4 five-door, customers will save £2,165.
This means the Suzuki Alto will be available from £6,665 and will include standard features such as electric front windows, remote central locking, power steering, adjustable steering wheel and MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner with two speakers.
All of the Alto models have a combined fuel consumption of just 64.2mpg and emissions of 103g/km meaning they qualify for an Annual VED charge of just £20. With these figures the Alto will pose competition to the Fiat 500 and the Ford Ka.
The Suzuki Swift three door is available from £8,880 and comes with MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner with USB port and four speakers, steering wheel mounted controls, three-spoke leather steering wheel and front sun visors with vanity mirrors.
The Swift was awarded the 'highly commended' at the Auto Express awards in the Supermini category in July 2011.
The Swift has also been awarded the 'Best Small Car' by the Association of Scottish Motoring Writers as well as the 'Safety Award' at the Annual Scottish Car of the Year Awards, held at St Andrews on 5th November.
All of the Swift models achieved a five star safety rating its EuroNCAP crash test which can reassure drivers of its safety with driver, front and curtain passenger airbags, driver knee airbag, side impact protection beams and ESP (Electronic Stability Program).
The 1.3-litre Swift SZ3 DDiS, available from £11,125, has recently achieved a 28 per cent improvement in its emissions with a combined figure of 67.3mpg in the Fleet World Marathon.
The Suzuki Alto and Swift models are available now and the Suzuki's VAT offer is available until the end of December.
