Audi’s new TT Roadster will be available to order from mid-November, with prices starting from £31,955. First deliveries of the sports car will take place in March 2015.

The more powerful Audi TTS Roadster, which offers 306bhp, will be available to order from early 2015, with first deliveries taking place in second quarter.

Two engines are available from launch: a 182bhp 2.0-litre TDI ultra diesel with front-wheel-drive and a more powerful 227bhp 2.0-litre TFSI petrol, with either front-wheel-drive or quattro all-wheel-drive.

The 2.0 TDI ultra engine pumps out 182bhp and 380Nm of torque, while returning up to 65.7mpg and emitting 114g/km of CO2.

In terms of the petrol-powered models, the 2.0 TFSI produces 227bhp and 370Nm of torque in the TT Roadster, with the power output rising to 306bhp and 380Nm in the range-topping TTS Roadster.

The flagship Audi TTS Roadster is able to sprint from zero to 62mph in just 4.9 seconds, while its top speed is electronically-limited to 155mph.

Two trim levels will initially be offered for the Audi TT Roadster: Sport and S line, with both coming well equipped.

Both trims include the stylish Audi virtual cockpit, which is based around a 12.3-inch high-resolution LCD display and is powered by a powerful Tegra 30 graphics processor from Nvidia’s Tegra 3 series.

Other standard kit for the entry-level model includes 18-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights, Alcantara and leather upholstery, air conditioning, keyless go, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Moving up to the S line specification brings larger 19-inch alloys, all-weather LED headlights and LED tail lights, S line body styling, and S line sports suspension that lowers ride height by 10mm.
