Jaguar has launched a 75th anniversary-inspired iPad app that coincides with the C-X75 supercar concept’s appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
As suggested by the hybrid concept’s moniker, the big cat brand has been around for 75 years and the iPad app brings the hybrid concept and other ‘iconic cars’ in its history to life, says the British manufacturer.
The app will begin with the C-X75, showing clips of it in action and interviews with the men behind it before moving on to more of the same for its earlier models like the E-Type.
Jaguar’s C-X75 hybrid concept debuted at the Paris Motor Show earlier this year where it was well received (as revealed by Askaprice.com).
The extended range hybrid is capable of a top speed of 205mph with a range of 68 miles in pure electric mode.
However the Jaguar also uses micro gas-turbines that can charge the cars lithium-ion batteries when driving, extending the range to a theoretical 560 miles.
The Jaguar 75 iPad app is now available to download now, but the C-X75 remains in the concept area of production.
Askaprice.com however does offer a range of alternative Jaguar cars if you can’t wait any longer.
The car-buying website holds a range of Jaguar finance and leasing deals including Jaguar XF car lease deals, Jaguar XJ lease compare tools and XK business leasing.
