Ford MPVs claim two awards

Ford bagged two titles at the recent Fleet News awards with its MPV’s proving popular once again.

The Ford C-Max scooped the first award in the ‘New Company Car of the Year’ category while its larger sibling, the Grand C-Max, claimed the ‘Best People Carrier’ prize at the ceremony in London.

Cars were judged on a wide range of criteria with one eye on their benefits to business car users including depreciation, fuel, servicing, maintenance and repairs to name a few.

It was the Ford Grand C-Max that benefitted from these criteria with the seven-seat Grand C-Max seeing off competition from the likes of the Chevrolet Orlando and the Seat Alhambra.

The C-Max – a five seat MPV – was decided on by the readers of Fleet News with the models practicality and drive proving decisive in its achievement.

Fleet News’ judges said:

"The new Ford C-Max and Grand C-Max stand out thanks to clever and flexible seating and sliding rear passenger doors in a highly competitive sector with a range of new entrants."

Both of Ford’s triumphant MPVs have been on sale since November of last year and both were boosted by a five star safety rating from Euro NCAP – the maximum rating from the safety institution.

Pricing for the Ford C-Max starts from £17,195 while the Grand C-Max is slightly more expensive from £19,195.

Askaprice.com holds a wide range of manufacturers and models at the car-quotation website all of which are available to view with no obligation quotes. That includes Ford C-Max finance deals and Ford Grand C-Max lease agreements.
