The Ford B-Max has recently prevailed in its EuroNCAP crash tests as it achieved a five star safety rating.
As the EuroNCAP tests grow increasingly tougher, a five star rating is a massive achievement for any car, especially for an MPV.
In the test, the B-Max scored an impressive 92 per cent protection rating on its adult occupant and an 84 per cent rating on its child occupant. As the B-Max is a compact MPV, it will be targeting the family car market, which means its five star safety rating is essential.
In terms of other safety features, the B-Max comes with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and front knee and side airbags as standard.
Other family qualities of the B-Max include three extensive trim levels, flexible seating and a frugal 1.4-litre petrol engine that emits just 104g/km, meaning it is road tax exempt for the first year.
Ford B-Max prices start from just £12,995.
