Aston Martin is the UK's coolest brand for the fifth time in six years according to the latest CoolBrands survey.
After 10,000 brands where chosen and 1,500 shortlisted, British luxury car maker Aston Martin came out on top of the annual competition.
Competing against and defeating many other leading brands such as Apple and Bang & Olufsen, Aston Martin has displayed superior design, originality and desirability than all of its competitors according to judges.
Stephen Cheliotis, Chief Executive, The Centre for Brand Analysis and Chairman of the CoolBrands Council said: "Smooth, sexy and sophisticated; British built, high quality and hand finished, let's be honest, young or old, male or female, opinion former or British public, who wouldn't aspire to own what is truly the coolest car on the road.
"Number one in five of the last six years, this British icon is truly the coolest of the cool."
Aston Martin's well-acclaimed reputation has been bolstered by the James Bond films with use of the Aston Martin DB5 and the Aston Martin Vanquish.
It also has many celebrity fans such as music artist Jessie J, DJ and Bestival founder Rob da Bank and actress and fashion designer, Sadie Frost.
Aston Martin is one of the world's best-loved luxury car makers because of its evidently high quality interiors and stylish designs.
A perfect example of this is Aston Martin's Virage Coupe released earlier this year. The Virage Coupe's specification includes aluminium, magnesium alloy and composite body, an acceleration of 0-62mph in 4.6 seconds, a maximum speed of 183mph, 20" 5-spoke cast alloy silver painted wheels, adaptive sport suspension and full-grain leather interior, amongst many other luxuries.
The only other car manufacturer to appear in the CoolBrands competition was niche British car maker Morgan, which Aston Martin beat in the race for number one.
