The Enfield Pageant of Motoring has been running for the last 34 years. It’s usually held in north London this time every year, but because of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations for Her Maj, the show is being held this weekend instead. Don’t worry regulars, it’s still appearing at its usual destination – The Playing Fields at Great Cambridge Road.
The Enfield Pageant of Motoring first began in 1978, and has attracted a huge following of obsessed classic enthusiasts. Open from Friday ‘til Sunday, the Enfield Pageant of Motoring exhibit is the perfect place to find restored used cars from the United Kingdom and beyond.
The show features 400 stalls where collectors can source spare parts and collectors’ items, whilst people can marvel at the 2,000-plus vintage and classic cars, trucks and motorcycles on show. Live music will also keep the atmosphere cheerful in case dark clouds rain on the parade, as they famously did during the opening years of each and every exhibit!
Friday’s show is mainly autojumble events, and is open from 9-6pm. An adult can enter for £6. Saturday and Sunday are both full show days, with tickets costing £9 for adults. The Saturday show finishes at 8pm with the event coming to an end on Sunday at 6pm.
