How can we offer such great quotes?
We work with a large number of dedicated dealerships and dealership groups. When you ask for a quote via Askaprice, the request goes out to 5 different dealers, based on your criteria, via our automated system.
These dealers won’t know what the other dealers have quoted you. Because of this, they have to 'blind bid' for your business and try to undercut each other - resulting in competitive quotes, saving you up to 30% off the list prices! How much does our service cost?
It's completely free! There are no associated costs for users of our service. Askaprice gains revenue through advertising and subscriptions from our network of dealerships, and not the visitors to our site.
In addition, do we charge commission from any cars sold, meaning you get consistently great prices from some of the most competitive UK dealers. Am I under obligation to buy?
Absolutely not. We do ask that visitors who use our free service are seriously looking to purchase a vehicle in the near future.
However, if you have not received a quote you wish to pursue, or you end up in the unlikely situation of having found a better quote elsewhere, you are under no obligation to go any further via our dealers. How do our dealers offer these low prices?
Dealing with customers via the internet is a lot cheaper than running a showroom. A showroom has to have cars on display, security, and plenty of sales people milling about.
With Askaprice, all they need is enough staff to quote you their best prices. The savings are then passed on to you. In addition, internet sales can be far more efficient, which means that the dealers sell more cars. In turn, this means that they can negotiate even lower rates for the cars they buy, and can offer the vehicles even cheaper - everybody wins! Are the dealers trustworthy?
We don't just let any dealer handle your enquiry. All members of our dealer network are vetted prior to registration, to make sure they are legitimate, and adhere to a high level of professionalism. We personally meet all car dealerships who are part of our network.
Who else do you forward my details to?
No-one else - we hate spam too, so your personal details are not passed to anyone outside of our network of car dealers who are able to fulfill your requirements, guaranteed.
Are the cars you provide UK spec?
Yes, all of the cars our dealers supply are full UK specification.
How long will I have to wait before I can take delivery of a new car?
This depends on the car dealers themselves. In many cases, you may be able to take delivery of your new car within a week, but this is usually arranged between yourself and the dealership.
