Introduction
The Audi R8 took its inspiration from the Audi cars racing at Le Mans. Looking back over seventy years of innovation in motorsport the team at Audi came up with an awesome road car, the Audi A8.
With a classic mid-engine layout the Audi A8 has a breathtaking profile, the sleek, honed lines of the A8 bodywork housing a rev-happy 4.2 ,litre V8 that will hit 60mph in just 4.6 seconds as it keeps on powering towards a 187pmh top speed. Audi R8 Design
The new Audi R8 has the appearance of crouching tiger, sat low and wide on the road but ready to leap up with speed and agility in a heartbeat. Looking around the Audi R8 there are many key design points to highlight, from the modified but still distinctly Audi trademark single-frame radiator grille through to the sideblades that make the R8 even more distinctive with their contrasting colours.
