The Ford Mondeo is an excellent car for adapting to the needs and requirements of the driver. The cheapest engine choice is 113bhp 1.6-litre TDCI ECOnetic which offers an average of 65.7mpg and only 112g/km of CO2 emissions. However, the car does more than make up for its fairly high fuel consumption for a surge of power and performance.

Equipment

The popular Mondeo has various levels of trims available, all featuring a very impressive list of features. The basic model, Edge, features a heated windscreen, air conditioning, electric front windows, electronic stability control, seven airbags, cruise control, an alarm and MP3 audio socket. The Zetec adds electric rear windows, front fog lights and electronic climate control. Titanium models feature all of the above as well as sports seats and 'titanium finish' trim, whilst the top of the range Titanium X models include a 'Ford Power' start/stop button and part-leather seats.
