Who are Askaprice?
Askaprice.com is an independent website. What we do is simple: We match your requests with the best offers our dealer network can offer. Our matching system analyses your wishes and brings you together with the dealers who are able to give you a competitive quote. This means we are completely independent: we have no direct involvement with the sales of any cars requested through the site.
Where is Askaprice based?
Askaprice is based just outside Liverpool in Merseyside, England. Our free, no-obligation service is available nation-wide; we work with a range of car dealers all over the UK to ensure you get the best prices available.
How many people work for Askaprice?
At Askaprice, we are proud of achieving a great deal of success with a lean, yet highly professional team. We have 11 full-time members of staff range from the technical team, to management, publishing, and sales / marketing, to ensure that we are able to drive the business forward and continue to grow.

Does Askaprice have the cars in stock?
Askaprice do not have any direct involvement with any sales of cars through our site: You deal directly with our network of dealers. Our system is unique in that it matches your requirements to the best offers that our network can offer, which saves you time, effort and money!
How can you offer such great prices?
Askaprice has a large number of dedicated dealerships and dealership groups that we work with. When you ask for a quote via Askaprice, it goes out to 5 different partners, based on your type of request (New? Contract hire? Used? Special requests? Geographic location), via our sophisticated filtration system. This means that your request gets handled by 5 different dealers. These dealers contact you directly, and won't know what the other dealers have quoted you. Because of this, they have to 'blind bid' for your business, to undercut each other - resulting in great prices!
Are there any associated costs in using your service?
There are no associated costs for users of our service. Askaprice gains revenue through advertising and subscriptions from our network of dealers, and not the visitors to our site.
Am I under obligation to purchase a vehicle after I have requested a quote?
Absolutely not. We do ask that visitors who use our free service are seriously looking to purchase a vehicle in the near future. However, if you have not received a quote you wish to pursue, or you end up in the unlikely situation of having found a better quote elsewhere, you are under no obligation to go any further via our dealers.
How long will I have to wait before I can take delivery of a new car?
This depends on the car dealers themselves. In many cases, you may be able to take delivery of your new car within a week.
Isn't it easier to just pick up the phone and call myself?
You could potentially be calling many, many car dealers around the UK in order to find the cheapest quotation. Our automated system automatically processes your requirements and forwards it to the network of national car dealers who can fulfill your request. This saves you time, effort, and money: Wouldn't you rather let us work hard on your behalf than racking up a silly telephone bill?
Are the cars you provide UK spec?
Yes all of the cars our dealers supply are full UK specification.
What's the difference between registered and pre-registered cars?
A pre-registered car is a car that already has a set of number-plates and a V5 document. This may be because a dealer has ordered and registered a vehicle, but the customer pulls out of the deal at the last minute, or that a dealer purchases a small fleet of cars itself, in order to make its sales targets. For all intents and purposes, pre-registered cars are new, and will only have delivery mileage on them. You will, however, be listed as the second owner on the V5 document. This may cause your car to depreciate in value faster, but in return, you should get a red-hot deal at the beginning of the ownership.
Do the vehicles come with a full warranty?
Of course! All vehicles come with full manufacturer warranties.
I'd like to specify my own optional extras. Is this possible?
When you are filling in our quote request form as part of the final stage of the process, you are able to specify any additional extras you would like our network of dealers to include within the quote.

We decided that most of the other automotive news sites out there were rubbish, and thought we could do a better job ourselves. Bold and optimistic? Are the car dealers trustworthy?
All members of our dealer network are vetted prior to registration, to make sure they are legitimate, and adhere to a high level of professionalism. We personally meet all car dealers who are part of our network.
How does your dealer network offer these low prices?
Dealing with customers via the internet (known as "Internet sales leads" in the industry) is a lot cheaper than running a showroom. Think about it: A showroom has to have cars on display, security, and enough sales people milling about. With Askaprice, all they need is enough sales people to deal with our leads, telephones and computers. The savings are then passed on to you. In addition, internet sales can be far more efficient, which means that the dealers sell more cars. In turn, this means that they can negotiate even lower rates for the cars they buy, and can offer the vehicles even cheaper - everybody wins!
