Uninsured Drivers
The Government recently announced that it is determined to crack down on Britain'slevels of uninsured driving. In August 2003, the Department for Transport establishedan independent review under Professor David Greenaway of Nottingham University.The review is due to publish its conclusions and proposals for reform later this year.
This is a breakthrough opportunity to reduce the current UK levels of driving without insurance. Insurance companies are delighted that the Government has committed itself to making this issue a priority.
